So, these data centers are starting to break ground in many states and some are very operational, but many of the latest and greatest are very very large, like the one in Southern Ohio.
Everyone assumes they will be working on challenges of society, making better things or figuring out how to eliminate jobs or actually directly eliminating jobs.
While those assumptions might indeed be true or partially true, we only have a few models to pull reference from.
Cyber-coin mining and AI.
On the surface, I’m sure they bring something in particular to mind depending on what you have ‘HERD’ about it. Your experience is limited to that since you or few have seen it for themselves.
What is said and what is being done may not have a actual relationship here.
First, The folks that are investing the most, also seem to speak with fascist tendency.
They remind me of early 19th century American oligarchs before Ohio’s ‘Valentine Act’ started a anti-trust momentum nationwide. ea, they are no different than Andrew Carnegie or Westinghouse and even Henry Ford. They have all the money and without it nothing happens. While they are largely correct about that, they forget it takes muscle and sweat to do it as well. And it can be said without that, nothing happens.
The level of investment in these data centers and AI begs the question, just who will be the buyers of the services they will offer. They have to expect an income from something to warrant this investment level which is higher than any 3-4 things in human history combined. Where do they get the return on investment. It would have to be so many paying so dearly they they could not afford to be in biz. Think about this a while. If you eliminate most jobs, you don’t have an economy to support further spending. Loss of income. People herded like cattle ? enslaved ? I doubt what we we told about all of this has just a little to any merit. Do not take my word for it, just do your own examination of the matter. It does not make any sense.
Public opinion is bought and paid for indirectly. The news organizations of the US were acquired or merged into even larger behemoths not because they made lots of money, but to control a larger portion of what you see and hear. Forming a public opinion based on what is presented or not presented.. That alone puts you in the position of power and influence that can yield money. The FTC, FCC and DOJ has done little to nothing about these and is directly a violations on the books for anti-trust laws. We ignore them one at a time. And they get bigger and digger.
Controlling public opinion is worth a lot of money. Most folks that are in their teens, 20’s and 30’s are heavy users of social media for various reasons. It is the medium of the future and opinion shaping must move to include it so there are no open alternatives to choice from. They have control of them all. While we have yet to see actual control of the internet literally, it has been dabbled with with plenty of citizen feedback. So if you can’t own it, become it.
Enter the data center.
I am now prepared in my opinion to think recent events like Ukraine’s strikes on Russian Yandex data centers has revealed the model for what is yet to become from these data centers (AI or NOT). While it is more likely since Yandex was primarily a vast search engine that had no real rules and later a payment processor like paypal for the Russian’s that the BOT activity sudden drop after the data centers were destroyed was more a matter of how the bots were made aware of content posted to social media nearly instantly and relayed the info to the BOT FARMS. So they were to confused to respond to nothing it could see. They were blind.
Elon Musk and MAGA were the most noticeable along with some European pro-Russian activity. So this has revealed itself. But it is highly likely these data centers in the US are primarily to be used to configure public opinion across the internet and other means. If successful, there is nothing they can’t do with public opinion on their side. Justify murder, avoid prosecution or other crimes just like Epstein with some compromat on a Senator, Governor, Congressman or Mayor. Reality is what they make of it. Creating empathy for the bad guy if he is in your pocket.
To quote a Clint Eastwood movie…. For a few dollars more…
Just remember that China and Russian citizens kinda gave up their freedom for prosperity…. that was the sell… how do you think that worked out for them. You only need to buy-in once and have no recourse. You can only enslave yourself and your kin folk. But someone is making money and it is not you. Money be damned, this is about control and who has it.
Those who own social media make money from the fake traffic. Making up traffic for your site by nonferrous means has a long history since porn entered the internet later aided by malware. Just one more grift that has no end. Perhaps the advertisers will pull the plug… or will they be tricked a new way with he help of AI itself. So many angles with this crap, it can hurt your head.
Those with all this money seemed determined to make all of this happen in their lifetime. Whereas it may have happened an inch at a time over 50 years. That makes it so easy to see and feel the effects of changes. But just how does the average person fight against what it does not see and get at the root of this bad weed ? For you can go after the current actors, but not the cause. We had laws on the books to protect us from such things and they were allowed to be eroded over a few decades. That was the inch method. We can hope the internet saves us or act to save ourselves in the present. Having got this far, the only thing stopping them is you and what you think about it.
While there is no really good report to show you on this matter, keep it in the back of your mind as events unfold.
Trump, Musk and Epstein and all the players he had seem to have one thing in common… Putin in Russia. Speaking directly about Wexler in Ohio and data centers in Ohio. Same same.
More on BOTs… Truth… And public opinion….
