So, as an update, the wait not in seating AZ congresswoman is now a special election in TN. December 2, 2025

If their guy wins, he will cancel out her signature on the discharge petition as they avoid a full vote.
But are they counting their cards correctly that just one may not flip on them ?
We will see but not seating a congress person must have a penalty going forward.
Can’t be any reason to not seat in less than 30 days or less of certification.
A federal judge must also have the power to swear her in.
The next house has their work cut out for them to fix much of this shit.
Who would have thought the lack of rules would be a problem.
Could also be a issue for republicans if house flips, even before the next election.
So, now all eyes on TN in a few weeks.
But that also means the government shutdown will last till then and congress will not be in session.
I’m kinda thinking one or more republicans will break the ice before then and just sign the dam thing.

But lets talk about the cost of those who might afford it but barely…
He says this thanksgiving is the most affordable. Based on a year to year track of a standard of food items that would normally be consumed.
But this year, they removed 20% of the items and swapped others.
Just one more instance of him going out of his way to lie to the people.
Guess what ?
You can’t lie to folks that actually have to pay for that cherished dinner.
Just how do you hide that ?
He did himself more harm than good as fewer folks will believe much out of his mouth.

No wonder he walks so dizzy from all this spin.
While he is busy saying more of it over the next weeks, people will be feeling it different.

Like Obama, they will do everything they can to try to make this fail, and spin every action.
But it is all fear that he will succeed.
Much like a true democracy near the Russian boarder, they will try to eliminate it before it spreads.
I am sure the fella is going to make some mistakes, and it is true that much of what he wants to do will require the state of NY to approve, but if you were in the shoes of the state legislature seeing his wide victory, would you oppose his voters ?
I only say, since I am not a resident of NYC or NY state that they have tried it one way that does not seem to work very well for the people it is to represent, so a new method is in order, no matter who is leading the charge.
Eventually, someone will fix the fundamental issues.
I don’t look for any immediate turn around, these things take time.
Stopping current corruption would go a long way but will make waves.
There would be a lot of interest trying to shut him down every step of the way.
Change does not come easy nor without argument.

While it is possible they could both, I doubt it.
But given the current state of news, you never know how disgusted people really are as the polls are not that fast. But we are going to find out.
If it should happen, it will be very hard for Rep’s to pass anything.
It may not matter if they never get seated anyway.
We have one elected and unseated now from AZ-7 and that before the shutdown.
Normally when the house can’t get a bill through the other chamber, they go to work drafting a new one to satisfy more people.
Not happening as they will not come to session to ensure it.
The government was closed before the shutdown started.
Mike Johnson closed the house 2 days before the government shutdown.
It’s looking like they will not be seated and POTUS will declare insurrection and take over the government to keep those Epstein files from going public. Making Jan 6 look like a practice run.
Do they actually have compromat on enough people to stay silent and allow this to happen ?
Certainly nobody on the right is raising questions.
