My predictions.
Yes we will have some count wranglings and some may take days to a month to resolve. I doubt any can change the general picture of the outcome.
Since I see the democrats making a big sweep, you are going to have a lot of republicans who are going out on their ass, you can watch for these things…
Many lobbyist see this lame duck of congress as the last opportunity to get some rule changes and they are willing to pay well for it as compared to waiting 6+ likely years.
The Trump admin is still wanting to delay anything with the Epstein files, but they may not have to pay as it is likely they have compromat on many of these public officials and that has been controlling them all this time. So, I guess it depends on if any have something to hide legally or otherwise. Many may be retiring from politics and many will be taking prominent positions working for the corporate world that interfaces with the government.(a inside man who knows how the gears turn and which gears to grease and how).
The question becomes, does enough of them hold grudges against the admin that are deep enough to end Trump before they leave ? It could happen.
If they want any political credibility in politics going forward, they will do something as the wind on this is very strong and not going away anytime soon.
Those that have a criminal involvement in things like Epstein, may find a pardon being waved around but only if they pass things for the admin. They have nothing to look forward to.
At the same time, a large effort to preserve records by others. Lots of scrambling going on that may not be so visible.
But this is a point where we potentially can get a lot of bad legislation in favor of large private interest. Keep that in mind. It’s a great money making opportunity for those on the way out, and it looks like there will be many. They will not be around to be accountable for their actions and you will forget what they did when they show up on a ballot at a later time.
Keep the above in mind as you watch it play out and connect the dots as needed. Your voice may be required again.
Give the dem’s a year to show something and hold their feet to the fire as well. But keep in mind, it can take 6+ years to unwind all of this and legislate, so that much of it can not happen again. The dem’s will not have a ‘veto proof’ majority so they are limited to what they can do unless they can muster one with the republicans. And that could be the case, but we have to wait and see what political winds blow. It may take action from you to push things over that edge to get what ‘you’ deserve.
I can say that I completely ignore ‘name calling’ adds & false facts. I actually hold it against the perpetrator of them. Tell me something of substance to be considered. That is what I look for.
Anything less than what a candidate will do is political opinion vaporware. I don’t need my opinion changed, I need my intellect feed. Think about that 2 years from now. You will need it.
