3 years ago I warned what you see developing with drone warfare in UA/RU conflict was going to change warfare forever.
I really did not think we would realize that outside of this conflict for 8-10 years.
But we see it in Iran.
They can destroy all of Iram’s conventional systems and these drones will remain a threat to oil supply that you can not extinguish.
And note that Iran has not dipped it’s hands in naval drones like UA. YET !
Note that 3rd world nation are capable of doing things like this.
Much less cost. At least they can not be pushed around so easily.
When you can destroy millions of dollars in either war hardware or civilian or corporate hardware with a $10k device, yea, it’s a equal playing field ++
Eventually, this will limit future wars, but not till it has been realized.
At least until someone gets the idea they can plot past it or have an answer for it.
That time is not now and we have yet to realize that wars can be quite costly quite quick.
The ultimate hope would be to know that ones economy can not withstand a war.
You can not defend so many industrial developments. It costs more than war itself.
Governments do not fight wars, people do. But drones are changing that.
But can you afford the destruction ?
You still pay for making it ready and the destruction of it’s use. But they forget to tell you that.
The US has some fast learning to do. The government and the people.
But in this instance, I am also reminded something else I have been saying for nearly 30 years…
I don’t want to fight a war over oil. We need diversification. It’s national security.
