Moot Court -Democracy In Action -Everyone Gets Education

Well, I am not Calling any of our U.S. Courts Moot. For those that have never herd of Moot Court, it is a very good way for those students who are practicing law to get a real feel of a court room practice and In front of real judges sometimes Supreme Court Judges. A situation many are not likely to ever face but forces them into a real understanding of the principles and practice of law.

Students are given a challenging set of circumstances to argue under the law. Most are very principled in the constitution and conflicts within it.  These are very interesting to watch as even us novice legals will learn a great deal almost as a sport. The more of these I watch, the more interested I become as these students argue constitutional points and are graded on various aspects of everything from knowing their subject of law to staying on their point and delivering it in a meaningful way.

Watch and enjoy this Final from UC Berkley in front of Supreme Court judges.

You will be looking forward to these every year from all schools Thanks to YouTube!
